Making E-Waste Recycling Easy

Our goal is to create easy recycling programs that can be adopted on a widespread basis around the world. Organizations simply gather used cell phones, fill up the free recycling kit provided and receive a check. Unlike other electronics recyclers, we are completely transparent in all of our processes – by providing detailed and timely statements on all collected product and publishing our downstream recycling practices. Upholding Environmental Standards

Approximately 80% of the cell phones and accessories we receive are usable items that can be refurbished and resold for their original intended use. The remaining 20% are considered e-waste, because they are irrecoverable. Cellular Recycler partners with US-based smelters that are certified to process e-waste according to EPA standards, and no e-waste is shipped outside of the US. Maintaining User Privacy

We take great care to ensure the privacy of our customers – and their customers. Whether a cell phone will be refurbished or recycled, the memory of each phone is ‘flashed’ to wipe out any previous information stored on the phone and allow for reprogramming. Learn more in our FAQs.
